For candidates who had originally intended to sit their exams in November 2020, we are still waiting for guidance on how these entries will work alongside the Autumn series.

We are happy to accept private candidates for AQA and Edexcel exams. Coursework components are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Access Arrangements remove barriers to learning to ensure equal opportunities for all students. We are able to accommodate some requests for Access Arrangements.
Here you can find a list of our internal deadlines. As we are a small exam centre, we highly recommend applying well in advance to secure your place for your examinations .

We have been an approved exam centre since June 2019 and offer both AQA and Pearson Edexcel examinations for GCSE and A level. We're delighted to be able to provide an additional service to support the homeschooling community and those students who find themselves in need of a small and calm space to sit their examinations.
For GCSE and A Level exams taken in May and June, JCQ set a contingency date for which
all candidates must make themselves available. In the event of a local or national emergency that causes severe disruption, examination(s) would be rescheduled for the contingency day. This year the contingency day is 24 June 2020.
External (or private) candidates are required to make a formal application to our Exams Office; details can be found below. Our internal students, who have studied with us exclusively for their GCSEs or A levels, would be entered automatically by our Exams Office.
Should you require an estimate of fees, any additional information, or would like to make an application, our Exams Officer can be contacted by email email@example.com or by telephone 01727 223204.
As we are a small exam centre, places for external candidates are limited so we strongly advise making your provisional application for entry well in advance of the due date (specified on the form). For June 2020, this due date is 3 February 2020. We cannot guarantee a place for applications received after this date.
Complete the preliminary exam entry form and return the form in person or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org along with any supporting documents. Your application will not be processed until all requested information and supporting evidence is provided.
We will process your preliminary entry and send you an invoice. Full payment must be made before we will make the official entry with exam boards and (if applicable) apply for access arrangements.
When we have made the official entry, we will send you a Statement of Entry, a timetable, and a Candidate Handbook which details exam procedures for our centre (also available to download on this page). The onus is on candidates and/or parents to check the Statement of Entry and advise the Exams Officer of any amendments within 7 days of receipt.
We may not be able to accommodate candidates who require controlled assessments or coursework as part of their first sitting unless via prior arrangement with Top Grades. We will review this on a case-by-case basis and advise discussion with a member of the Exams Office staff.
JCQ defines Access Arrangements as: "pre-examination adjustments for candidates based on evidence of need and normal way of working... They allow candidates with special educational needs, disabilities or temporary injuries to access the assessment without changing the demands of the assessment".
In order to submit your application to JCQ for Approval, we require the following documents :
* Should your child not have an existing assessment or Form 8, we can refer you to our SENCO for an independent assessment.
Entry forms for June 2020 must be emailed to the Exams Office or returned in person by the end of the business day. Applications without sup...
