Access Arrangements

JCQ defines Access Arrangements as: "pre-examination adjustments for candidates based on evidence of need and normal way of working... They allow candidates with special educational needs, disabilities or temporary injuries to access the assessment without changing the demands of the assessment". 

In order to submit your application to JCQ for Approval, we require the following documents:

• Fully completed AA section of our entry form
• Psychological assessment/ EHCP/ Statement of Need
• Medical diagnosis (Consultant's report, GP letters not accepted)
• Completed Form 8 (if applicable)
• Completed Form 9 (if applicable)
• Copy of the original assessors qualifications
• Evidence from teachers/ tutors of that these arrangements are the candidates 'normal way of working'
